The 2009\/10 Bundesliga season was memorable for fans due to several reasons. Firstly, it was a very closely contested season with a number of teams vying for the title, leading to a thrilling race to the finish. Additionally, there were many standout performances from individual players, such as Edin Dzeko’s 22 league goals for Wolfsburg, and the emergence of young talents like Thomas M\u00fcller at Bayern Munich. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The season was also notable for the performance of promoted sides Mainz, who managed to finish in the top half of the table, defying expectations, thanks to Thomas Tuchel. This season also saw the resurgence of Borussia Dortmund, under J\u00fcrgen Klopp, seeing them finish in 5th place, much improved from the previous season. The three teams that were relegated were Hertha Berlin, VfL Bochum, and FC N\u00fcrnberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
