The recap of 2025 is here.
2025 was a challenging year. A year of rethinking, reshuffling strategies, and adapting on the fly. One of those years that tests you — not only as a seller, but as a person. I even picked up some great Panini Futebol sealed boxes along the way!
In mid-August, I received some of the worst news I could imagine: postal services to the USA were put on hold!
At that moment, I knew something had to change.
And it did.
Turning the Page
Instead of freezing, I pivoted.
I turned my focus to the local market and started expanding into other international markets. My presence in the ASEAN market grew significantly — China, Japan, Hong Kong, Macau, and to some extent Australia — all were officially hit by the “ohobbyemportugues tour”.
When one door closes, you either complain… or you build new ones.
Let’s Talk Numbers
Despite all the challenges, 2025 was an outstanding year from a numbers perspective.
Every single goal I set was not only reached — it was blown into oblivion!
Last year, I said I wanted to reach 300 sales.
👉 We finished the year with a record 562 sales.
I said I wanted to increase the average price per sale.
👉 We did — by 29%.
Total revenue?
👉 Up by 37%.
These numbers are, quite frankly, superb.
Will it be hard to match them again in 2026? Absolutely. But that’s the beauty of it.
About “The Market Is Dead”
Whenever I hear people say “the market has tanked”, I honestly think they don’t know what they’re talking about.
The market hasn’t died. It’s adjusting. It’s correlating.
And I’m living proof of that.
Looking Ahead
The goals for the future are simple:
- Stick to the same approach
- Gain market share in new regions
- Build a global brand, step by step
As the saying goes: “Vague goals get vague results.”
We’re not doing vague around here.
