It’s the Euro 2024 championship and Arda Guler has burst onto the scene with an absolute screamer against Georgia! Some of you might be wanting to collect him and some may even want the Arda Guler rookie card!
This prompts the question – what is his true rookie card? I will give you a hint, its not the from the Topps Merlin collection.
Arda Gurler’s first cards were produced in Turkey by a company called Mythos Cards. Mythos Cards and I have a history believe it or not – you can read my blog post “My Mythos Cards Horror Story“
Despite my grievances, I have to give you guys the facts, and the fact is Arda’s first official cards are from Mythos cards in the 2021/22 season. In this blog I will show you the Arda cards from the Mythos collections, and there is many! I think Mythos Cards got a bit carried away because Guler was doing so well for Fenerbahce, they made many many cards. You can’t really blame them, Arda Guler is a generational talent!
Note: The following cards do have parallels, but I am only showing images of the base variations. Furthermore, the Arda Guler true rookie card does not have any parallels that can be found in packets and is a stand alone card, but they made a /10 variation of the same card that could be bought on online. The Mythos cards collections are quite confusing because some are collections with a set list and others are printed on demand in a “Topps Now” like fashion. If it is printed on demand, it should have a “Mythos Today” or “Today” in the Top right hand corner.

Arda Guler True Rookie Card
This was Arda Guler’s first card produced in what was Arda Guler’s debut for Fenerbahce against HJK Helisinki, only 16 years of age – The Arda Guler True Rookie Card
Arda Guler Rookie Card – The Second One
This Arda Guler rookie card represents his Super Lig debut, just 3 days after his debut for Fenerbahce against HJK Helisinki. In his first game in the Turkish division he assisted vs Antalyaspor.
